Charles W. Madden, Sr
71, Enid
The memorial services celebrating the life of Charles W. Madden, Sr, 71 of Enid will be held privately at a later date.
He was born July 7, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to William W. and Dorella Olive Walby Madden.  He was raised and educated in Brighton, Michigan, graduating from Brighton High School in 1963. He became a licensed Insurance agent and worked in Insurance sales. In 1971 he moved to Stillwater where he continued to work as an Insurance producer and raised a family. In 1994 He moved to Scottsdale Ariz. In 2015 he returned to Oklahoma to be near his family. He always was a voracious worker and a true salesman. He always went above and beyond to provide for, support his children and grandchildren, and helped raise one of his grandsons, AJ.
He was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church of Stillwater, Life Underwriters Association, and the Stillwater Rotary Club. He was also a member of the Stillwater Masonic Lodge #48 as well as a 32-degree Mason and DeMolay Chapter Dad.
Charles, Sr. is survived by daughter, Tracy Williams of Orlando, OK; sons, Charles W. Madden, Jr of Greenburg, PA, Russell Madden & wife Kathy of Flagstaff, AZ, Jeff of Douglas, AZ; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Cyndyles Willard of Palm Harbor, FL; brother, Bill Madden of Canton, Ohio; 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
Charles, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma with Brown-Cummings services as custodian of funds.
