Gloria Jean Wittman, a longtime Stillwater resident, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family in Stillwater at the age of 70. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn,821 Fairgrounds Road, Stillwater, OK. Bro. David Thompson and Bro. David Sloate will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.
Gloria was born on June 8, 1947 in Visalia, California to the late Thomas and Alberta (Overacker) Easlon. She went to school in California, Washington and Oregon, graduating from Springfield High School in Oregon in 1965. Gloria was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on May 24, 1964 by Brother Paul Bellew in Eugene, Oregon. Gloria married the love of her life Jerry Wittman on June 28, 1968 in Tulare, California. To this union Scott, Lana, Casandra, Gayla, Shane, Kimberly and Valarie were born. They moved to Stillwater in 1971 where they made their home. She was an amazing mother and devoted wife. She loved collecting miniatures, working puzzles, playing games and caring and loving on babies. Her favorite time was time spent with her family and attending church. She never met a stranger and had a Heart of Gold. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jerry Wittman, sons Scott Wittman and girlfriend Kathy Gulledge of Perkins, Shane Wittman and wife Sara of Tryon, daughters Gayla Milner and husband Don of Schertz, TX, Kimberly Harmon and husband Jason of Stillwater, Valarie Stein and husband Matt of Stillwater, daughter-in-law Shantell Leeper of Stillwater, brothers Phillip Easlon and wife Katy of CA, Virgil Easlon of OR, Timmy Easlon of OR, Tracy Harney and wife Tara of AZ, grandchildren Luke, Collin and Katy, Lillian, Riley, and Skye Wittman; Dawson, Trenton, Austin and Mason Milner; Kayden, Brooklyn and Paisley Wittman; Chris, Jason Jr. and Alexis Harmon, Marissa Bevins, Kelsea McNeil and husband Dalton; Tiara, Makayla, Tiffany, Corbin, Keigan and Brittany Stein, one great grandson Grayson McNeil.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughters Lana Jean Wittman and Casandra Faye Wittman.
