Illene Ozment was born to Robert Webb and Audrey (Noble) in Beaumont, Texas. After graduation from Beaumont High Illene attended Louisiana State University and played with in the Marching Band.
In 1967 Illene moved to Stillwater to pursue a Masters Degree in Housing and Interior Design. In 1971 she was employed by the City of Stillwater to write a grant for a community arts program and Multigraphis was (now Prairie Arts) was created. In 1977 Illene was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship to study textile design in Sri Lanka. Upon returning to Oklahoma Illene married her best friend Pat Ozment and they made their home in Ponca City for next thirty years. Unto this marriage 2 sons were born, Joshua Patrick and James Adrin (Jimmo). in 2007 they moved back to Stillwater and made their home in rural Payne County
Illene was preceded by her parents Robert and Audrey and 2 brothers, Robert and Don. She is succeeded by her husband of over 40 years Pat and sons Joshua and Jimmo (Bri) 4 all of Stillwater,grandsons, Tavar Booze, Dean Webber Ozment & Harry Cole Ozment all of Stillwater, Adrin Wayne Ozment of Austin Texas and daughter in law Katie Stiechen of Austsin
Celebration of life will Friday, Nov. 9th at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions can be made in Illene's name to St. Andrews and Stillwater Medical Center Foundation

Our thoughts & love are with Pat, the boys, & the entire family. My memories are how she always had a positive attitude & a great smile. She will be missed by her family, friends, & all.

So sorry and surprised to see rhis on FB this a.m. Although we didn't get to spend much time together, we loved and admired her. We will pray that God will bring peace to all who mourn.

We are shocked & saddened to see the FB message of Ilene’s passing. Regrettably, we are unable to attend the service tomorrow. Would love to be there to celebrate her life & to hug Pat & each of the family. Our memories are Ilene are of a beautiful smile and a rich personality who brought something positive to everyone around her. We will be in touch with you, Pat. Love 💕 you & praying for you.
