Kaye Lynn Murray Kaye Lynn Murray, 71, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD after complications associated with heart surgery.

Kaye was born May 23, 1947, in Stillwater, OK to Maynard and Wilma Human. She graduated from Anadarko High School and attended the University of Oklahoma and Barry University, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Business and went on to work in federal civil service, managing military logistics for the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Kaye loved animals, nature and traveling throughout the world. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and biking. She was president of her homeowners association and a long time member of a women's investment club, two book clubs and a senior biking group. She was a wonderful cook and loved to make creative meals for family and friends. Kaye was passionate about combating hate, insuring civil rights for all and believed that we all could make positive changes in the world. Most of all, she loved her family and friends dearly - they were her most important concern. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend. She challenged her children and grandchildren to be independent and not afraid to take chances in their lives. Kaye was smart, funny, spiritual and most importantly, she was honest and kind.

She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Murray of Hedgesville, WV; daughters, Kelley Kubic of Hedgesville, WV and Sarah Smith of Frederick, MD; son, Paul Murray of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Sue Watson of Salinas, Ecuador; grandchildren, Ray Reck of Harpers Ferry, WV, Chelsea Reck, Michael Smith, Rebekah Smith, Mackenzie Frampton of Frederick, MD, Jack Kubic of Hedgesvile, WV, Magdalena Murray of Oklahoma City, OK and great grandchild, Liam Reck of Harpers Ferry, WV.

A celebration of life will be held in the future and details will be shared with friends and family.
