Linda was born March 16, 1932 in Hominy, OK, to Alva and Dorothy (Mackey) Bragg. She grew up in Ponca City and attended Ponca City Schools. She and Everett Fansler were married on June 16, 1951 in Ponca City, OK. They were blessed with 66 wonderful years. They made their home in Tonkawa before moving to Holbrook, AZ, for a short time and then back to Perry, OK. She managed a convenience store in Perry for several years. She worked for Mrs. Skinner for several years before she and Everett bought Skinners Candies and Gifts located in the OSU Student Union in 1979. They owned and operated the store for 26 years until their retirement.
Some of Lindas enjoyments were bowling with her friends, watching OSU football, and Thunder & OSU basketball. Caring for her house was very important to her. She and Everett were longtime members of First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater where they faithfully attended and enjoyed the many friends they made over the years. Her family was the light of her life. She loved spending time with them and making many fond memories. She was the best mother and grandmother you could ever imagine. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy McLaughlin of Stillwater, OK, and Debra Bowman of Morrison, OK; four grandchildren, Melissa Morse and husband Philip of Glencoe, OK, Jessica Rice and husband Nick of Morrison, OK, Ross Bowman and wife Shannon of Glencoe, OK, and Wade Groom of Perry, OK; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Morse, Katy Morse, Remy Bowman, Alexander Rice, Roselynn Rice, Clayton Groom, and Payton Groom; one sister, Barbara Ware of Ponca City, OK; two brothers, DeWayne Younger of Lawton, OK, and D.L. Bragg of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
