Phyllis Luana (Skinner) Skidmore
A celebration of the life of Phyllis Luana (Skinner) Skidmore will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Golden Corral Restaurant, 9711 E. 71st St. S., Tulsa, OK 74133. Phyllis passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. She was 69 years of age.
Phyllis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 8, 1947 to Charles and Geneva (Ames) Skinner. She attended high school at Nathan Hale graduating in 1965. During high school Phyllis enrolled in a trade school where she learned drafting. She completed her education at Oklahoma State University by earning a Bachelor's and as well as a Master's Degree in Vocational Education. Phyllis worked as a draft person on varying industries including golf course design, mining equipment design, and assisting in design of the Broken Arrow Expressway.
Phyllis was a wonderful mother to her two children, Charles and Shellyanne. Her children were her pride and joy. Phyllis loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. In her free time she enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and was the #1 fan of Tony Stewart. Phyllis was a member of the Red Hat Society and liked spending time with her friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother Willa Ames.
