When I was in the first grade at Eugene Field school, Bob and HC Loyd would walk with me to school each day from our houses near the water tower. I still remember those walks and how nice it was to be with them. As I read his obituary, I was impressed to learn about his life and his contributions to Oklahoma. May Peace be with his friends and famiily now. Jan.Sobotka@yahoo.com

I am a better person, personally and professionally, for having had Bob as my friend and associate. He had a special sense of wisdom and counsel which he imparted succinctly and his caring concern for others, especially those close to him, was profound. He did not seek notoriety, but commanded respect and admiration. Prayers and thoughts from Barbara and me to Joan and the Family.
