Teresa Jean Montgomery
April 13, 1948 - October 26, 2018
Passed away October 26th, 2018 at Integris Baptist Medical Center, OKC of Primary Biliary Cholangitis.
She attended Elementary and Secondary school in Oklahoma City. She graduated in 1966 from US Grant High School.
She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and later earned her Masters Degree in Education from Oklahoma State University.
Survived by her children Jay Ramsey and wife Terra of Little Rock, AR, Jenifer Perkins and husband Chris of Davis, CA and Justin Summers, of Kona, HI. She was also survived by her husband Glen Summers of their home in Stillwater.
Teresas number one love was her children and grandchildren. She adored and cherished her grandchildren, Kinley and Rainey Ramsey, Addison, Linden and Hayden Perkins. She was constantly planning activities and trips for these special kids. They were her main love in life. She was their beloved GRAMMY.
Teresas second love was travel. She toured Europe twelve times and seven of those trips were with Stillwater students. She also took many trips to Hawaii, New York, Washington DC, California, Florida and many other places. She also took a trip to Japan as part of an educational exchange program.
She was a lifelong Oklahoma Educator, having taught in public education for more than 48 years. She was a true advocate for every student.
There will be a Celebration of Teresas Life at 5:00 pm, Tuesday October 30th, 2018 at University Heights Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall. Please invite any and all of Teresas friends. Please come share all your stories and photos of your time with Teresa.
