Wilna's Story

Wilna (Willie) Tannahill passed from this life on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 in Fullerton, California. A memorial service will be held at Crosspointe Church, 1807 N. Jardot, Stillwater, Oklahoma, at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 2, 2017.
Willie was born to William Earnest Lane and Ada J (Smith) Lane on January 10, 1926 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She graduated from Alva High School. She attended Northwestern State College, in Alva, majoring in Production Illustration and Graphic Artistry/Design. She later worked for Oklahoma Career Tech as a Graphic Artist, retiring in 2003.
Willie married Vaughn Tannahill (deceased) on July 25, 1952, in Wichita Kansas.
She was a member of Crosspointe Church, Heart Project, Stillwater Senior Center and Singles of Stillwater.
Her hobbies were reading, sewing, gardening, and playing cards at the Stillwater Senior Center. She was also very involved with delivering meals to the elderly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Leah Jo Wolf, sister Jay DuPree and great grandchild Kyla Kimball.
She is survived by her daughters, Teri Tannahill of Anaheim, California, Susan Quinones and her husband Daniel of Orange, California; her grandchildren, Heather Kimball of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kevin Kimball and Tami Kimball of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Laina, Samuel and Joshua Quinones of Orange, California; her great grandchildren Elizabeth Kimball, Logan Kimball and Michael Kimball of Tulsa, OK.
