Bryan's Story

Text size

Bryan Rodney Sanders was born on August 24, 1989 in Ada, OK to Bobby Ray Sanders and Bonita Gailene (Webb) Sanders and on February 17, 2017, in Coyle, OK Bryan decided his soul was prepared to move on from Earth and seek out that which is beyond. His family will miss him with every fiber of their being, as they find solace in the fact that he is no longer suffering. Bryan was a proud member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard and served bravely until being medically discharged in 2012. He also loved spending time in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping with his family and friends.
Bryan was an unbelievably loving son, brother, uncle, friend and most importantly, father. He was incredibly proud to be a daddy to his son, Kanon. Bryan adored holding and cuddling Kanon until they would both fall fast asleep. Though their time together was far too brief, he cherished every moment with him, and loved him with all of his heart and soul.
His time with us was entirely too short, but it was time well spent. Bryan was extremely charismatic, inspiring and loving. He loved kids, and was known as Uncle BryBry to so many children and would babysit every time he had the opportunity. He was also known to be an idealist, looking for ways to not only make money, but also for ways to improve things to benefit others. He recently, started woodworking with pallets, making everything from tables, book shelves and signs. He was a very selfless man, that would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. Bryan felt a calling to become a mentor to several young gentlemen and felt that he could make a difference in their lives. He did things for the benefit of others, never expecting anything in return. He truly had a servant's heart.
Bryan leaves behind his loving son, Kanon Grayson Sanders; mother, Bonita Sanders, father, Bobby Sanders and wife Carey Sanders; sisters, Raylene Moore and husband Daniel, Brenda Brandon and husband Kyle; grandparents, Charles Eugene "Gene" and Wilma Rae Sanders, Floyd Edward, Sr. and Peggy Jean Webb; nieces and nephews, Drei Bernotat, Mason Moore, Christopher Bernotat, Brylon Moore, Toby Bernotat, Ava Moore, Ryan Moore, Kyler Brandon, Bryik Brandon, Ellie Moore and Bryer Brandon; honorary nieces and nephews, Riley, Logan and Taylor Rogers, Carson and Miranda Paxton, Kristen and Bryson Weir, Kaidence Watkins, and George Smith. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Rodney Paul Sanders.
