Carl's Story

Carl Leon Lytle Jr. (C.L.) 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 18, at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Carl was born May 16, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Carl Leon Sr. and Gladys Vivian (Johnston) Lytle. Carl was raised in the Pawnee area graduating from Pawnee High School in 1968. Carl married LaWanda F. Keeton on April 14, 1976 in the Lone Chimney Freewill Baptist Church, the happy couple celebrated 35 years of marriage before LaWanda passed away in 2010. Carl was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
Carl was an avid sports fan watching and supporting the Pawnee Black Bears, Oklahoma Sooner, and he Oklahoma City Thunder. Carl dearly loved his family, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchild, and his nieces and nephews.
Carl leaves to cherish his memories his daughter: Jessica Teague and husband Westin Sr. of Hallett, Oklahoma; two brothers Ronald Lytle and Billy, two sisters Sissy Blair and Melissa Barnhardt, seven grandchildren; Jordan Minyard, Collin Teague, Westin Teague Jr, Tyler Teague, Dacota Teague, Bryttanni Teague, and Joseph Teague, great grandchild Kolbee Winchester, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife LaWanda, two brothers: Darrell Lytle and Larry Lytle, five sisters: Debbie Little, Melanie Lytle, Marilyn Thompson, Penny Gore, and June Thomas.
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 A.M.,Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the Eshelman Memorial Chapel at the Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, with Rev.Jonathon Horner, and Senior Adult Minister Chan Ray, internment will follow at a later date in the Maramec Cemetery, Maramec, Oklahoma next to his wife LaWanda.
