Cynthia J.'s Story
Cynthia J. (Pals) Yocum, 62, of West Virginia passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at home.
A Mass to celebrate her memory will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Sacred Heart Church in Effingham.
Cynthia was born June 27, 1954, the daughter of Raymond and Betty (Coates) Pals of Effingham. She married Chuck Yocum in 1976. Cynthia was a devoted loving wife, mother and daughter.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Chuck Yocum of West Virginia; three children, Brandon (Bonnie)Yocum of Pennsylvania, Garrett (Meredith) Yocum of South Carolina, and Cassandra Yocum of New York; two grandchildren, Austin and Delaney Yocum of South Carolina; three brothers, Ronald (Melissa) Pals of Oklahoma, David (Delores) Pals of Beecher City, Bryan (Wendy) Pals of Effingham; two sisters, Tamela Hankins of Effingham, and Cheryl Gephart of Effingham.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Pals; grandparents, Lawrence (Anna) Pals, and Delbert and Clara Coates; and nephew, Adam Losh.
Taken to soon her love and memory will live on thru her children and grandchildren.
