Frank Fredric Doutey a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Monday January 9, 2017 in Yale at the age of 92. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m , Friday January 13, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Yale OK. Pastor Randell Newby will officiate. Interment will follow at the Underwood Cemetery in Yale, OK.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, OK.
Frank was born on January 16, 1924 in Yale, OK. to Fred J. and Dee (Douglas) Doutey. He grew up in Yale and graduated from Yale High School in 1942. He joined the Army in 1945, serving during WWII and was involved in Invasion Force in the Pacific in Japan then the Occupation Force. After returning from the service, he furthered his education at O.S.U. receiving a Bachelor's of Science. Frank began farming and ranching in Yale. He was the happiest while being on a tractor. He also milked cows for a few years. Frank loved the outdoors and being with his family.
Frank is survived by his son Frank Doutey of Yale, sister Dorotha Hande of Arizona, grandsons Colton Doutey and Trenton Doutey.
He was preceded in death by sister Lillis Martin and brother Bud Doutey.
