James Richard's Story
James Richard Lease, 74, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
James was born in Roe, Arkansas on July 25, 1942 to James O. Lease and Orene Walker Lease.
James grew up and attended school in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Army serving proudly for his country from 1960 to 1965. James then started his forty year career in construction. He became a superintendent in commercial construction and took great pride in his hands on involvement on countless building projects here in the state of Texas and many other states. He was very proud of his last two projects before his retirement. He built a large church where he hoped many people would come to know the Lord. He then extensively remodeled the home where he lived for the last fifteen years of his life.
His most cherished award was being selected Father of the Year of his church. He was nominated by his daughter, Summer Jordan. Summer believed the greatest heritage a Father could leave his children is the knowledge of the Lord. He then became a long time member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Vaughan Lease, his favorite daughter Summer Jordan and her husband Jason Jordan, his favorite son, Kaleb Vaughan Lease and his adored grandson, Nolan Alexander Jordan, all of San Angelo, Texas.
