Mary's Story

Mary Maxyne Lebow was born April 19, 1923 in Enid, Oklahoma and passed away early Sunday morning, August 14, 2016, in the Linwood Village Nursing Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
She was the daughter of Thomas Wesley and Myrtle Helen (Slease) Birkes. Mary Maxyne married David William Lebow on October 31, 1942 in Enid.
She traveled to many states in her early years while her father worked construction jobs. She was always very proud to tell others that her Dad helped to build the Stillwater Mill. She and David settled in Enid and she spent her adult life as a home maker in Enid and Spencer, Oklahoma. until he retired in 1972. They then moved to her father's farm in Glencoe, Okla.
She is predeceased by an infant son, husband, David, one daughter, Pamela Helen (Lebow) Cantrell, and one son, Michael Alan Lebow.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, David Wesley and Kitty (Howard) Lebow, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, Oklahoma with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating.
