Mildred Jewell Hall, a long time resident of Perkins, Oklahoma, was reunited with her husband James R.L. Hall, her daughter Rosa Lee Sexton, and her 3 brothers Dell, Doyle and Marvin Chapman when the Lord took her home on February 8th, 2017 at the age of 90. Mildred was born on December 29, 1926 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Joseph and Addie Chapman.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel followed by a brief graveside service before her interment at Perkins Cemetery in Perkins, Ok.
Mildred was just beginning her adult life when she met and married her lifelong companion and true love James Hall on August 19, 1944. They enjoyed 71 years of marriage before he was called to the Lord on November 15, 2015. Mildred was a homemaker and the couple was blessed with 6 children, 5 daughters and 1 son. Her husband enlisted in the military and she followed him to many duty stations both state side and overseas. When he retired from his service they made their permanent residence in Perkins, Oklahoma where Mildred continued to raise the couple's children and support her husband.
From her heavenly perch, Mildred continues to watch over her remaining 4 daughters, Louise Andrews and husband Bob of Perkins, Wanda Caldwell of Stillwater, Linda Northcutt and husband Bill of Perkins, Janie Austell and partner Mike of Stillwater, and one son, Kenneth Hall of Stillwater. She is also casting her love and warmth upon her 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Mildred touched many lives and left her own unique mark on the earth. She will be deeply missed by those that came to know and love her. She was a one of a kind and though her family wanted her to stay, they also rejoice in knowing that she is back with her husband never to be separated again.
