Nancy Carrol Vincent, longtime Ripley area resident, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Stillwater at the age of 73 years.
The daughter of the late Claud McLaughlin and Hazel Beck McLaughlin, Nancy was born on August 18, 1943 in Burns Flat, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in Weatherford and Hydro.
Nancy was united in marriage to Samuel Ray Vincent, Sr. on May 31, 1962 and to this union three children, Samuel Vincent, Jr., Steven and Tammie were born. In 1977 the Vincent's moved to Ripley and called it home until Sam's passing in 2015.
Nancy enjoyed shopping, camping, visiting with her family and friends and her many trips walking to the store to get her soda.
Survivors include her children, Samuel Vincent, Jr. of Enid, Steven Vincent and his wife Tammy of Perkins and Tammie Hunsucker and her husband Scott of Stillwater; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Wallace and her husband Don of Choctaw and Janice Johnson of El Reno; brothers, Harley McLaughlin and his wife Alma of Moore, Max McLaughlin of Columbus, Kansas and Richard McLaughlin and his wife Julie of Weatherford and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Ronnie Johnson.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mt. Hope Cemetery north of Ripley, with Pastor Dan Yankunas officiating.
