Steven Krehbiel's Story
Steven Krehbiel, 63, died on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Stillwater, Ok. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Strode Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at St Francis Xavier in Stillwater, Ok. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Steve was born in Caldwell, Kansas to Kenneth and Irma (Reimer) Krehbiel on January 18, 1953. He married Karen Kolda October 21, 1985. Steve attended Deer Creek High School and he was a member of the St John Catholic Church. He was a mechanic and he also spent many years working in the oil field. Following in the footsteps of his father, Steve was a jack of all trades. His family was the love of his life. Steve's children and grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He loved his Cowboys. He also loved watching football and NASCAR racing. He was a gun enthusiast and he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Steve especially loved hosting family and friends at his home.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; brother-in-law Cliff Niles; Father-in-law Dewayne King and his dear friends Henry and Ed.
Steve is survived by his mother, Irma; wife, Karen; one son, Seth (Lauren); two daughters, April and Katie (Matt); five grandchildren, Randal, Evie, Joe, Taylor and Allix; two brothers, Rick (Debbie) and Daryl (Kathy); two sisters, Carla (Larry) and Lintha; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
