Willa Dean Fields (Buckmaster), 82, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Perkins, Oklahoma. Visitation is Wednesday, July 5, 2017 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Stillwater.
Willa Dean was born on November 27, 1934 to Walter and Nellie Buckmaster in Commerce, Oklahoma.
She married Cecil Fields on April 16, 1954 in Hobbs, New Mexico.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She was musically inclined and could play most instruments by ear; she gardened, bowled in her younger years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; attending her church, and loved helping people. She loved walking when she was able; her favorite drink was her daily strawberry shakes. She had a sweet and loving nature and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil T. Fields; parents,Walter and Nellie Buckmaster; three sisters, Kay Ools, Joyce Ools, Daisy Buckmaster; one brother, Otto Buckmaster.
She is survived by her two sons, Albert Fields and David (Randy) Fields; two daughters, Dorothy Fields and Claire Bruce; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers; Al Fields; Randy Fields; Casey Pittman; Corey Albright; Josh Fields and Tracy Reed.
