Stillwater, Oklahoma - Genie Ford, age 95, went to meet her heavenly father, February 24, 2026. Graveside services will be held on March 2, 2026, 2:00 cst, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, Ok. Dighton-Marlar Funeral Home will oversee the arrangements.

Genie was born on September 23, 1930, in Carney, OK to Ralph and Alma King. She married Dewey Ford on February 10, 1949, in Stillwater, Ok.

Genie was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed many different activities but most of all playing Bridge was her passion, she was a fierce competitor.

Her final years were spent at Golden Oaks Village, in Stillwater, Ok

She is preceded in death by her Husband, parents and 1 great grandson Dylan Reimers.

She is survived by her daughters: Debra (Ford) Johnson and husband Kelly Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK and Julie A Ford of Stillwater, OK.; her grandchildren: Amanda (Dearinger) Reimers and Husband Greg Reimers of Bethany, OK, Blake Johnson and wife Tracey Johnson of Bethany, OK.; her Great grandchildren: Hunter Reimers, Avery Reimers, Lilly Martinez, Quinn Johnson, Piper Johnson and Ely Johnson, all of Bethany, OK.

Her family would like to thank the entire staff of Golden Oaks and Stillwater Hospice for their outstanding and compassionate job they did for our mother and family.
