Florence Edna Friedemann
Florence Edna Voise Friedemann, 96, died on November 21, 2019 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She will be available for viewing on Friday November 28, 2019 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Salem Lutheran Church with a burial to follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
She was born on September 21, 1923 to William and Lydia Voise in Perry, Ok. She married Adolph Friedemann on August 18, 1946.
She graduated Sumner Public Schools in Noble County. She embraced being a farmer's wife and a loving homemaker. Florence also dedicated her time as cook for Spring Valley School for 14 years, Martha Pfaff's Sewing Center as a seamstress and doing alternations as well. She was also the owner of The Sewing Room-Custom Sewing/Alterations until her retirement. She is a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she was also a dedicated, long-time choir member, Sunday school teacher, Altar Guild, a Salem Council member, and sewers. She enjoyed every minute of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband Adolph, parents, William and Lydia Voise; brother, Charles Voise and sisters Lillian Friedemann, Sophie Friedemann, and Emma Nida.
She is survived by her son Thomas Friedemann (Cindy), and daughter, Susan Prater (Jesse), five grandchildren, Jim (Kimm) Friedemann, Kari (Jason) May, Gretchen (Ben) Krause, Dolph (Teren) Prater, Alexis Prater, Ben (Megan) Mitas and Will Mitas as well as 12 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Audrey, Olivia, Nathan, Noah, Nicholas, Caidyn, Jackson, Juliana, Elsi, Elica and Alexandria
