Stillwater, Oklahoma - Gladys Inez Boone Wilson, age 83, passed peacefully and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Christ August 28, 2025 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20,2025 in Bolivar Cemetery in Sanger, Texas.

Gladys was born February 15, 1942 to H.E. "Eli" and Mandy Mae Gay in Fountain, Florida. Gladys established her home in Texas and raised her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Dallas and in Valley View, Texas. She was a proud retiree from Boeing. Her most favorite times were spent gardening, cooking, listening to George Jones and being with family.

Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Wilson, sister Dorothy Knape, son Charles Thompson and grandson Joshua Thompson.

She is loved and survived by her daughter Nancy Coleman and Michael of Stillwater; and by her son Ronnie Boone, Port St. Joe, Florida. Gladys is treasured and survived also by her granddaughters Christina Wade, Brandy Thompson, Michelle Vermillion and Raeshelle Tucker Hamilton. Gladys is also treasured and survived by her three great-grandsons Tyler and Austin Wade and Thomas Edward Paelette III and seven great granddaughters Alice, Aurora and Raven Thompson, Cadence Matthews, Tomicka, Mackenzie and Desire Vermillion.

Gladys always had a quiet strength during the toughest of times and she will forever be missed and never forgotten.
