Heaven gained a good cowboy Sunday, May 13, 2018. Guy W. Rose passed away at his home in Agra, Oklahoma with his wife Amy Rose, his sister Cindi Rose, and his dear friend Marshal Thompson by his side.

Guy was born June 12, 1960 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to parents Carl and Cleo Rose. He was fortunate enough to be able to do many things that he loved, one being his Saturday sale at the Guy Rose Auction Service south of Stillwater, Oklahoma where he built a huge family of friends. Guy worked for J&J Livestock Commission Company at the Oklahoma National Stockyards Company for 20 years where he was not only a valued employee but an all around good hand, cattle buyer, salesman, and alley manager. Last but certainly not least, Guy took great pride in the 18 years he was yard man for Arrow P Equine Sales in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Guy was deeply loved by his family and he will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Rose, his sister, Carla Ann Rose Frame and his grandparents.

Guy leaves many survivors including his mother Cleo L. Rose of Perkins, OK; his wife Amy Rose and daughter Josie Rose both of the home.

In Lieu of flowers Guy requested that donations be made to his daughters college fund held at Stroud National Bank. There will be no funeral services but a Celebration of Life on June 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Guy Rose Auction Service, 3 miles North of Perkins, OK or 6 miles south of Stillwater, OK on Highway 177.
