James Scott Wilke
James Scott Wilke was born 9/25/1966 in Duluth, MN. He left this world on 1/28/2020 at 6:40pm while at Grace Living center.
James had many varied interest, one of his favorite things to do was read. James never met a book he did not like. He always had a book in his back pack and he was known to hole up in any corner and just read. James also loved the outdoors, gardening and fishing were a summer past time. Trivia was easy for James, his variety of topics discovered by reading enabled him to win at almost any match.
In addition to a varied work history, he undertook higher risk projects in writing, music, small business and art collecting. He was not thwarted by failure.
He is survived by his parents, Arthur and Barbara Wilke of Auburn, AL and a brother, Erik (Linda Kelley) of Mableton, GA.
Everyone who knew James soon called him friend and many are left with holes in their existence with him gone.
He donated his body to science and they are handling the cremation. His goal is that another human never has to suffer with cancer.
The memorial service is Saturday February 15th at 1:00 at Center Church located in Cimarron Plaza (North of the high school), directly after that will be a time to celebrate the life our friend enjoyed, at Mexico Joes Restaurant.
