Jenny Lea Fowler passed from this life on December 2, 2017 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side at the age of 61. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Community Church in Guthrie, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.
Jenny was born on April 15, 1956 in Cushing to the late Floyd and Mary (Marvin) Wooten. She grew up in Stillwater, graduating from C.E. Donart High School and attended Oklahoma State University. Jenny met the love of her life Steve Fowler and they married on July 22, 1978 in Stillwater, to this union, Shane and Erin were born. They made their home in Stillwater where they raised their children.
Jenny began her career as a Victim Advocate and passionately worked in this field for the next 33 years. She was a devoted member of Community Church in Guthrie. Jenny enjoyed music, arts, helping others, and travel. Although, her greatest passion was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.
Jenny is survived by her loving husband Steve, son Shane Fowler and wife Amber of Yukon, daughter Erin Howell and husband Mike of Edmond, brother Tim Wooten of Stillwater, grandchildren Cash Fowler, Delphia, Delaney and Rylea Howell. Also, niece and nephew Tabatha (Wooten) Watkins and Chris Wooten. Jenny was preceded in death by her loving parents, Floyd Wooten and Mary Marvin.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
