Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Larry "Joe" Nelson, 78, passed away on December 16, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Joe was born February 27,1947 in Altus, he was a dedicated Oklahoma State University employee and superfan, proud citizen of Stillwater for many years, and a proud Vietnam Veteran.
Joe was passionate about home improvement and much of his off time when he wasn't attending an OSU sporting event was spent working on home improvement projects.
Joe was survived by his wife of 55 years, Pam, sisters-in-laws' Sheri Nelson and LaVonna Williamson, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces and two cats.
