Dear Loretta and I discovered we were avid OSU baseball fans more than 25 years ago, and eventually bought season tickets next to each other. Later, when I moved, we became actual neighbors. She blessed me with her delightful personality, and bouquets of fresh flowers. Opening Day at O'Brate Stadium will be bittersweet without Loretta. The "Charge" gang will memorialize her in full voice...

Loretta was such a delightful, kind person. We were members of a spinning and weaving guild together in the 1980s. She always had hand projects in process and wore a lovely smile. What a grand lady. I will most definitely enjoy my next ice cream come with you in spirit, Loretta!

Loretta and I both started with Warren Clinic at the same time, had same positions in different areas. Loved working with her and knowing her. It was always a special time when we ran into each other and she was so happy working with the plants. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. My sympathies to the family. Wishing you memories of joy as you think of her.

My thoughts are with Loretta’s family. It is so painful to lose someone, yet no one else can really know all that you feel except our Heavenly Father. He knows and feels your pain. He calls death an enemy and promises to remove it forever, Isaiah 25:8 “And he will swallow up death forever…” He also promised to wake up all our loved ones, in the memorial tombs, from death (Isaiah 26:19). What joy it will be to see our loved ones again and to enjoy life as our Creator purposed (Psalms 145:16). I  hope these words give all of you comfort.

We first met them in 1983 when they came here to Tennessee to a family reunion. We loved the entire family.
It was amazing how much we all had in common.
Loretta was so special and we kept in touch through the years.
She will certainly be missed but we all have special memories of her.
May God bless and comfort all the family.

What a special person Loretta was. She has left so many happy memories with me of travels and sewing and walkarounds and alumni events and Town and Gown and ice cream cones and knitting/crocheting and concerts and Saturday breakfasts and always a smile. So sorry for the world's loss but she was ready to go as much as she seemed to enjoy living.

Prayers to you girls and to your whole family. I so love how she would always have open arms and her big pretty smile you always knew it was so genuine whenever we got together.
