Spring, TX - Lou Moore Hale (born Mary Lou Moore in 1933), former wife of Thomas "Tom" Scott Strickland, Jr., (1930-2020) and widow of Douglas "Doug" Denton Hale, Jr., (1929-2014), died unexpectedly, but peacefully, in her sleep at her home in Spring, Texas on November 8, 2025. With Tom, she was the mother of Thomas "Tom" Strickland, III, Gray Moore Strickland and Elizabeth Louise "Lisa" Burnett, and was step-mother of Doug's children, Charles Steven Hale and Ellen Douglas Humpert, all of whom survive her. Lou was a grandmother of ten grandchildren and great-grandmother of Eleanor. Full obit at kleinfh.com.
