Rex  Redding
Rex Randy Redding, 67, passed from this life on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Duncan Cemetery, in Duncan, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Rex was born on June 4, 1952 in Dodge City, Kansas to Rex Rudolph and Ruby May (Lovell) Redding. Rex married Deborah Renee Carroll on January 21, 1980 in Wichita Falls, Texas until her passing. Later he married Melody Ann Gosnell on July 27, 2009. He graduated from Duncan High School. He began working at OSU in 1986 and retired after 22 years.
Rex was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed horses, playing shuffle board, darts, pool, card games, and listening to music but he mostly loved spending time with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by both wives and his parents.
Rex is survived by his son, Rudy and his wife, Lauren Sneed; step-son, Ryan Thomas and niece, Shantel Feil.
Memorial Contributions can be made in his name to the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

Rudy, you were only abt 7 when I met you. I worked for your mom. She was the best! I used to bring my daughter Libby to work with me. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Losing your Mom was So hard on you already. Think about what your mom is saying to you at this time. She is still with you, and is Always By your side! She hopes you know that for certain, & that she is right there by your side, just call on her, be still, & listen. 😉 You will feel her & know it's her! 💞
