Richard J. Cates Jr. passed away on August 7, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Ok. surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Chapel in Cushing Ok. Pastor Mike Clark will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Brooks Cemetery in Silver City, Oklahoma.
