Richmond, TX - Richard "Joe" Peeples passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on January 16, 1937, in Seminole, Oklahoma, his family moved to Stillwater, OK in 1942. Joe graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1960 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Upon graduating he joined the US Army for 2 years where he discovered a career in computer programming.

Joe will be remembered for his love of all things Cowboys: OSU Cowboys, Dallas Cowboys and cowboys like John Wayne and James Arness. He loved movies and had a huge DVD collection.

Joe also enjoyed music, especially Country & Western and Gospel.

He is survived by his three children - Christopher Peeples, Suzanne (John) Foster and Jennifer (Rob) Beard and his grandchildren Christian Clark, Jacob Foster and Kyle Foster. He is survived by one sister, Ruby (Bill) Wilson from Kansas and nieces, nephews and their children. As well as his lifelong friend, Jack Allred, of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James Vernon and Martha; brother, Dennis; sister, LaVerne; and his first wife, FrancesAnn Burrows; and his second wife, Sandra Kay Sword.
