Stillwater, Ok - Susanne Sanford Rose of Stillwater Oklahoma passed away on Saturday July 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Born May 20, 1935 in Iowa City Iowa. During her youth she attended Monticello Schools and Iowa State University. She married Donald G. Rose on September 6, 1955.

Sue shared her love of quilting by being a Founding member of the Central Oklahoma Quilt Guild, serving on the state quilt board and was a traveling member of the Oklahoma Quilt Heritage Project. She was an active member of the First United Methodist church of Stillwater and served as a Stephen minister.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Eunice Biggs Sanford and Ray Delano Sanford, and husband Donald G. Rose. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Rose Stephens and husband Larry, Donalee Rose Cook and husband David Harmon, and Bernadine Rose Webber; her sons David Rose, and Paul Rose and wife Tara; and grandchildren Kristina Rose Karam, Jessica Stephens, Brittany Cook Melton, Donald Rose, and Lindsey Rose; and five great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
