Stillwater, Oklahoma - Willene Mae (Jones) McLaury, 83, of Stillwater, Oklahoma died at Stillwater Medical Center on September 22, 2025.

She was born in Yale, Oklahoma on January 21, 1942, to William L. Jones and Emily C. (Anderson) Jones.

Willene graduated from Ripley High School in 1960 and attended Ponca City Business College graduating in 1961. She was immediately hired at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co in Cushing and worked for the company for almost 30 years.

Willene married Wallace McLaury on August 3, 1962, and they were blessed with two children: Rocky L McLaury and Angela D (McLaury) Bale.

She was a devout Christian and sought to ensure her family knew the Lord. Willene was a faithful servant in the Church of God of Cushing for many years where she used the musical talents God gave her as a pianist. She entered heaven's gates at the age of 83, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love and kindness.

Willene is preceded in death by her parents; and survived by her husband, Wallace, of the home; son, Rocky, of Cushing; daughter, Angela and husband Jeremy Bale of Stillwater; grandson, Bryar McLaury of Claremore; granddaughters, Malaury, Raegan and Elyse Bale of Stillwater; brother, Waymond Jones and wife, Johnna, of Tulsa; sister, Sharon and husband Garry Parvin of Bryan, Texas.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the kind staff at Stillwater Medical Center and the Judith Karman Hospice team for the wonderful are they provided to Willene during her final days. In lieu of flowers, Willene requested that memorials be made in her honor to Judith Karman Hospice.

Graveside memorial will be held 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Flynn Cemetery southwest of Cushing.
